I purchased two of these amps to drive my two 10" Jensen 500Watt Subs. I had saved for months to purchase these amps and was ready to get my subs bumping. Upon wiring them up with a 0 AWG wiring kit, neither would turn on! I was told by Kicker that the battery in my 1992 Honda Civic DX would not even power one amplifier on, so I had to purchase four Optima Yellow Tops (Kicker recommended two batteries per an amp minimum) and wired them in parallel. Now the amps turned on and I decided to see what these ten thousand point ones were capable of, so I turned the bass boost on and cranked the gain to max on both, my Jensen's instantly caught on fire and the cones separated from the surround and blew out of the box! The carpet on the box went up in flames and my entire trunk was on fire by this point. Unfortunately I was parked outside of a gas station showing my friends the new system...soon the gas tank caught fire and the car exploded taking several gas pumps with it. The entire block was leveled by the time the fire department arrived. I will never buy another Kicker product again, this amplifier destroyed by Jensen's! The Jensen subs are so expensive ($45/each at Wal-Mart) that getting two 10" Jensen's for Christmas last year was all I was able to ask for and now they are burnt up and in pieces thanks to Kicker. Good thing I had full coverage on my Honda as they gave me $1500 for the car. If you are going to buy an amp like this for your Jensen subs you had better go easy and wire one amp to 4 Jensen's. I guess I overdid it a bit, but they did make one hell of a BOOM!

since no one on here actually placed a review i thought i would let them know. Kids this isnt your grandfathers old 10's and 2ch amp setup he had going for you back in the days, your gonna need to dig deep before you even consider looking at this amp. Lets start by saying wtf are you going to use them on. I had a 22" MTX Jhammer wired to 2 ohms and the reason why is because i cant even use them or attempt to go 1 ohm due to the fact i plan on listening to music in my 60's so get real gentleman this amp is a superb piece of equipment. try 3 orion 4000rms subs and down at the sound off ive registered 178db with 0 gain volume half way. dont even start thinking about buying this amp unless you have the same dollar to watt ratio, ive sunken 25k, and my 7 year relationship with my gf to own a piece of art. get real guys and if you do decide to go HARD!! buy it from amazon cuz these prices are amazing. DONT GO USED
